Mid Term Examinations Fall 2014 Postponed (Virtual University of Pakistan)

Due to unavoidable circumstances, Virtual University Mid Term Examinations Fall 2014, which were scheduled to commence from Saturday, December 20, 2014 have been postponed.
The new schedule will be announced in due course of time. Students are advised to keep visiting the LMS noticeboard and check their VU email regularly for further updates.

Blocking of LMS Accounts (Virtual University of Pakistan)

The University is going to block accounts of all such students who have payable dues, from December 9, 2014. Students with block accounts will not be able to send their assignments, quizzes and carry out other academic activities. Therefore, they are advised to clear their outstanding dues at the earliest.

‘Words never fade away but echo on for eternity’

The 2014 National Essay Writing Competition organized by Virtual University of Pakistan was a great success. Students from various universities across Pakistan enthusiastically participated in the competition.  We are thankful to all the participants of the competition and heartily congratulate the winners of this competition. In recognition of their achievement cash prize and a certificate will be awarded to the winners.

The details of the winners of the English essay competition on the topic “Role of E-Learning in National Development” is as follows:

  1. Nauman Malik (University of Sargodha), 1st  Position,  Cash Prize: 50,000 PKR
  2. Ufaq Sherazi (Riphah International University, Islamabad), 2nd Position, Cash Prize: 25,000 PKR  
  3. Aymen Ahmed (NUST, Islamabad),  3rd Position,  Cash Prize: 10,000 PKR  

Due to insufficient and not up to the mark entries for essays written in Urdu language, they have not been included in the competition.
